A journey to Nottingham with my colleagues in Phil Watson's group. To join the critics of architectural school of nottingham university. They presented nice works with intuitions, and gave us strong impression and inspiration even they looked like really rough. Collage, modeling, drawing, and so on. Honestly, I want to know where those representations are coming from... But its not the method, but the personal imagination, sense, intuition. So that makes me impatient. I suppose they are not afraid of making mistakes at all, just experiment, experiment, experiment, to develop their ideas... They will visit us next week to London, so we have to prepare something more better than they did. well, It puts strong pressure on us....

僕のチューター、フィル・ワトソンのチームとノッティングハムへ日帰り旅行。ノッティングハム大学の建築学部の学生のクリティークに参加するため。みんな雑な仕事ながらも個別のアイデアを色んな方法を使って表現するのが巧い。コラージュ、モデリング、ドローイング等々。正直どうやったらこんな風に巧く仕上げられるのか教えて欲しい。でもそれは方法ではなく、各自のイマジネーションとセンスと直観によって構成されている。どうも歯痒い。どうにか凝り固まったこの思考回路から自由になれないだろうか。。。みな若くて間違えることを恐れない、度胸ありの人達ばかりだ。そして彼等のアイデアを進化させるための実験、実験、そしてまた実験。今回はこちらが訪ねたから、来週は彼等がこちらを訪れるらしい。ものすごい重圧がかかる。
