"Topographical mapping device for The Journey of Don Quixote".
The Story of Don Quixote is continuing to roll by motive energy, other word "the dialogue" between Don Quixote which is the representation of IMAGINATION and his partner Sancho which is the representation of the REALITY. There is my basic interest about the relationship between "IMAGINATION" and "REALITY". This story is suitable subject for my interest to know more deeply about it. What i am designing right now it the device to draw the landscape in the story. Originally, the device was designed as a shirt for Marcel Duchamp but actually, it was diverted to this topographical device. Now I cannot explain this developing procedure well. But According to my tutor's logical explanation, it is logically diverted, i hope. The footmark and the motion of Donkey is directly. The device will be the interface between those two elements, Donkey and the Landscape, and will record and produce virtual landscape. I assume that the products or something recorded within the device might be the relationship between "IMAGINATION" and "REALITY" that is visualized.

ようやく、ちょっとした成果といえるようなものが出来てきた。
「ドン・キホーテの旅における地形学的マッピングデバイス」
ドン・キホーテの物語はドン・キホーテが象徴する「イマジネーション」と、旅の従士サンチョが象徴する「リアリティー」の対話が動力となって物語が進展していく。今、形にしようとしているのはその世界＝ナラティブ（物語）の世界のランドスケープを描き出す装置。「イマジネーション」と「リアリティー」はどういう位置関係にあるのかという興味が根底にあり、ドン・キホーテの物語はその関係＝対話のみによって営まれている。興味を深く掘り下げる為には最適な媒体である。元々は「マルセル・デュシャンのシャツ」としてデザインしていたものが、ドン・キホーテのまたがるロバに装着されたサドルバッグに機能転用された。この機能転用のプロセスは今のところ、巧く説明できない。。。でもチューターの理論的説明に頼れば、それはロジカルに転用されている。ドン・キホーテがまたがるロバの足跡、モーションは物語中のランドスケープと直接対応している。このデバイスはロバとランドスケープの接点に位置して、物語中の仮想的ランドスケープを記録し生産しようとするもの。生産されたものは「イマジネーション」と「リアリティー」の何らかの関係を視覚化したものだと仮定している。
