そういえば、先日雹が降った。写真はナショナルポートレートギャラリーの最上階にあるカフェより。窓から雹が降ってるのが見えた。ここは静かでなかなかいい。
The photo I updated last night was taken from the bus on thursday lunchtime. The reason of being in Westminster at that time was that I was picking up passport and all the documents which were sent back from Home Office. Without any problems, I have received my passport back with new TIER1 GENERAL which last three years from now on. No concerns for at least two and a half years. But the maybe a problem is Conservative is gonna seize the reins of government from now on which means that immigrant policy would be stiffened in order to control the number of migrants. However, good news is that my next extension under category would be not as difficult as I thought. So, I don't have to have enormous earnings like banker, nor being younger. Well, to be honest, unlikely to have such earning.
昨日アップしたウェスト・ミンスターの写真は木曜日の昼休みに２Fバスから撮ったものだった。何故ウェストミンスターに出向いたかというと、以外に早くパスポートがホームオフィスから返却される事になったからだった。ビザコンサルしてくれていた会社に、返却された書類一式を受け取りにいったのだった。無事、TIER1 GENERALのアプリケーションが通ったのである。これで３年間ビザの心配はいらない。でも保守党が第一党になった事だし、３年後にはもっと大変になっているんだろうなと思っていたが、意外にもこのカテゴリーで申請して通ったら、それに近いクライテリアで次回も更新できるのだそうだ。なのでべらぼうに高い年収がなくても、年齢が若くなくとも今回よりも簡単に更新できるらしい。とりあえずの朗報だ。
Friday, was quite as usual. All of us were loosen up gazing on screens watching election live news. Work until 19:00. This lunchtime was a bit exciting. I was looking up Cedric Price's Aviary in London Zoo which is quite adjacent to our office. I couldn't understand why that triangular pyramid is floating in terms of structure. It was build between 1960-63. Well masterpiece for sure,,, still.
金曜日、いつも通り事務所は静まり返り、皆肩の力が抜けている。１５時以降みな選挙放送などに聞き入って画面を眺めていた。１９時前終了。昼休み、歩いてすぐのセドリック・プライス：鳥の檻を運河から眺めた。駄目だなあ、構造的にどうやったらあの三角錐が中に浮くのかがわからない。暫く考えてみたが、駄目だ。偉人だな。ちなみに１９６０−３年の作品だ。
Another astonishing thing. I found a dead fish which was huge enough to question the nature of Camden Canal lying here. The fish was,,, actually fish, but not sure whether it was an eel or sort of ophicephalus maculates (to call it academically). It was rock! I cannot believe that a fish could live in such dirty water environment. Pity that i didn't take photo of it.
もう１つ、驚いた事があった。カムデン・カナルに結構巨大な鰻のような、雷魚のような魚が打ち上げられていた事だ。感動的だった。こんな汚い運河にも魚が住んでるのか。残念ながら写真は無し。
