Household things in the morning. Sadly typical gloomy british weather. It was rather "sad" because my junior is visiting London and today i planned to guide her around the city. It was bit difficult to choose one certain place since she was staying here for a few days and it seems she already visited most of touristic places. But my choice which was Portbello Market, Nottinghill wasn't so bad, since there is weekend market going on. It was more than 2 or maybe 3 years of gap between now and the last time when i met her. Anyway, walking along the street, lunch at 202, cafe at Ottolenghi. a cheese cake at Ottolenghi was surprisingly fantastic. Surprising because i never had such humble taste = ( soft flavor, not too strong sugar) which was very good for me. Well, good discovery. By bus, to the centre, and showing some shops i like that i assume she would like as well. Too much standing and walking but i think she could enjoy. She's got some souvenir for me. I am really really thankful.
午前中掃除洗濯。どんよりとした定番な天候で残念だった。というのは後輩のMさんと会ってロンドンを案内する事になっていたからだった。数日滞在して色んな場所をすでに散策したという事だったので場所決定が難かしく色々と迷ったが、ノッティングヒルのポートベロマーケット、定番なのだがウィーケンド・マーケットもあるし、いいかなと思った。久しぶりに会ってふらふらと散策。マーケットのメインストリートを外れ裏へ。その裏の２０２でランチ。その流れでコーヒーを数件隣りのデリ、オトレンギで。 オトレンギでのチーズケーキ（ブルーベーリーのソースが上にかかった小さい直径５センチ程の丸いケーキ）は美味しくて、驚いた。イギリスでこれほど（大味といっていのか解らないが兎も角、細やかさに欠けた食べ物が多い中、これは謙虚で自然な味）のデザートを食した事が思い出す限り無かったから驚いたのだった。ううむ、いい発見だった。バス経由でセンターのお店他を案内して解散。楽しんでもらった、と思うけど、少し歩きすぎたかな。日本からわざわざお土産を持ってきていただいた。
