It was a sudden call from Charlotte saying something. But it was taking shower and it was quite late when i noticed the call, so i didn't reply and next morning i replied by text. She was urgently telling to have dinner together. So i said ok. It was too too urgent so i thought she was too hungry : ) And we (Charlotte and Chien)met at the station. When i was walking toward the restaurant, someone took round my shoulder, when i saw that guy i was super surprised… It was Mr XXXXX from XXXXX (I cannot tell who this is). Wow, i've seen this face quite long-long decade ago. I was too uncertain about everything…
It was a big surprise by Charlotte and Chien. Mr.XXXXX suddenly decided to come to London without saying anything to their friends and colleagues in the country. And it was his birthday… Wow its like a Murakami's novel…
And he got job here as well,,, Incredible.
Well,,, that was the surprise. and we had enough Chinese food at restaurant. Happy Ending : )
昨日の夜中に突然、台湾人のCーロットからモバイルにテルがあったけど、シャワーに入っていたので出れなかった。そしてそのままにして寝てしまった。今朝テキストが入っていて、「今日絶対ローストダックいこ、お願い」とあった。どんだけ腹が減っているんだこの子はと思いつつ、今日の夜、ご飯にいった。駅で落ち合ってレストラン迄歩いた。歩いていると突然僕の肩をがっと掴まれたので「え、なんだ」と思ってみると、そこには遠い昔みた顔があった。ん、、、えっ、、、、なんで君がいるの！！！○○人の△△△だった（今は言えない）。信じられない。一瞬訳が分からなくなって、気が狂ってしまった。
思いもよらないサプライズだった。△△△は自分の誕生日に思い立って誰にも何も告げず、（友達にも仕事場にも一言も何も言わずにそして部屋もそのままにして）ロンドンにやってきたのだった。そしてなんと思いがけぬインタビューをクリアして某有名設計事務所に決まったのだ。つまりもう暫くは母国には帰らないのだ。なかなか粋な事をするな、春樹の小説みたいだ。誕生日に誰にも何も言わず突然失踪して、そして仕事も得て、で「うん、残る事にきめた」なんて。
まあそんなサプライズがあり、Cーロット、Cエン、そして△△△と４人で中華をがつがつ食べて満足した夜であった。
