From 10 to 16, until the closing time of Swiss Cottage library, I was working constantly for final form. My senior Taro came to help us and taught me a lot about his curator's special and useful techniques. And finally the installation was completely installed in the space. It will be there for one week and it will keep changing its shape because of it's interactivity. This installation will help people to visualize there hidden narrative that people has in general life. well, regarding the experience of reading book because its library. I should say WEAVING rather than VISUALIZING, because of its interactivity that slowly construct small stories of public. Its Physical BBS. In the world, there are many many interesting stories that is hidden behind persons which could be exposed by this installation or maybe orally told by them to others.

After working, Another senior Motoki came and with Taro, yuka, Andy we sent lovely free time next to the library as usual. It's bit chilly but feeling comfortable with chilly cherry blossom fragrance wind.

午前１０時から１６時の閉館までひたすら最終形態に向けてワーク。先輩Ｔaroさんにも来て頂き手伝って貰った、さらにはキュレーターの施行テクニックを伝授していただいた。そして頑張った甲斐あって、閉館まぎわ何とか完成に至った。最終形態とはいったもの、全然完成していない。このインスタレーションはこれから１週間の展示を経て、毎日変化し続ける。インスタレーションは図書館にやってくるオーディエンスの引っ張り出さないと表に出てこない個人的なストーリーを特別な『ナラティブ／物語』として紡ぎ出す手助けをしている、木と森のメタファーを拝借して。木についた葉っぱが個人を象徴し、それらが人の手によって誰かの葉っぱとくっつけられる。そのネットワークが成長して、いずれ森＝色んなコミュの塊＝知識の交換の場、になる。でその葉は、本のページとなり、いずれ製本される。それぞれのページは線材によってバインディングされ、別のページへとハイパーリンクされている。
世の中は実に普通だけれども、興味深い隠された個人的ストーリーで満たされている。それらはオーラル・コミュニケーションでも良いし、こういったインスタレーションでもいいのだが、後生に伝わっていってもよいと思う、特にこんな御時世では。どういう意味があるのかそれは積み上げてみないと解らない。

仕事を終えた後の、しばしの休息。先輩Ｍotokiさんも加わり、Ｔaroさん、Ｙuka、Ａndyの５人で歓談。まだまだ冷たいけど、夕方の春風が心地よい。
