It seems the paper is filled with ink. I spent bunch of time on it, but still more time needed to finish. And its important when to decide to stop it. I hadn't felt anything wrong with my right hand but today, i noticed a kind of weirdness, or tiredness on my hand which might be caused by too much drawing. Much energy is needed to make drawing. Anyway,,, it is quite astonishing that the variety of lines that Piranesi used in his etching. At first, I am drawing by pen but he was etching (engraving) on the cooper plate which means he is engraving everything flipped horizontal. Well, Davinci's mirror letter as well, why are the genius like to inverse and make it like mirror image...
ようやく紙の上の余白が黒いインクで満たされてきたように見えてきた。結構な時間を費やしたけれども、まだまだかかる。どこで停止するかが重要だ。仕事でキャド漬けの毎日でも右手に違和感は感じなかったけど、最近少し不自由さを感じる。何でだろうと考えると、おそらくこれが影響している。ドローイングも結構体力を使う。それにしてもピラネージのエッチングの線の多様性には驚かされる。線の圧倒的な定義の広さには到底足下にも及ばない。しかも自分の様にペンで描いているわけではなく銅板に切り刻んでいるのに。それに左右反転している。ダヴィンチの鏡文字といい、どうして天才と言われる人はみな反転するんだ。
