When i was browsing in a art book shop, I found a interesting book by an artist Slinkachu. He takes various photos at micro level using small human model. According to him, its Street Installation. He manipulates the scale of city by using those. This sort of scale manipulation of the city is similar to the photos by Naoki Honjyo, i suppose. Translating eithrer micro to macro, or macro to micro. Just difference of the direction it blow up. In Slinkachu's case, he takes ironical city landscape often. Like deer surrounded by ashes, children swimming at ditch. Not always beautiful landscape he takes, but all are very interesting. Strong message they carries with simple manipulation.
この前アートブック専門の店で立ち読みしている時に知ったSlinkachu。模型用の小さな人間を使ってミクロスケールの写真を撮って色んなジオラマ的なシーンを作成している。本人はストリートインスタレーションと呼んでいる。都市風景のスケール操作としては、被写界深度の浅い写真でミニチュア感を出している本城直季の写真と似ている。マクロなものをミクロに、ミクロのものをマクロに見せるという点で逆転している。Slinkachuの場合、都市（ロンドン）を皮肉くったような風景が多い。吸い殻に囲まれた鹿とか、ドブで泳ぐ子供やら、決して気持ちのよい風景ばかりではない。シンプルな風景だがメッセージ性は強い。
