Suddenly i got a phone call from a girl whom i just picked up at Heathrow last weekend. I thought she's got some trouble or something, and actually it was. But the problem was something i didn't expect at all. Do you know how to fold a Turu / Origami bird? Mmm, i know how to do that but what is difficult is to explain how to fold it through the phone. I started to fold it and explain it and as i expected when paper had to fold more dynamic and complicated, it was quite difficult to tell the instruction. Done it finally. Enjoyable.
夕方不意に先日ヒースロー空港までお迎えにいった、Hさんから電話をもらった。あら早速何か困り事かなと思えば、その様子だった。しかし想像していた感じのお困りごとではなかった。ん、、何々ツルの折り方を忘れてしまってわからない。どうやらホームステイの友達に折り紙を教えようとしていたところだったのだ。ツルの折り方は知っていて簡単だが、電話越しに教えるとなると、頭をひねらなければならない。スピーカーフォンに切り替え、自分も折りつつ、説明していった。最初の単純な部分は簡単だったが、少し複雑・ダイナミックに紙を折り込む部分に時間がかかったが、無事終了。なかなか楽しかった。
And I just remembered that i was also folding some papers at the office to make small pine trees, well christmas tree in other word. Making the template by CAD and use them as format.
そういえば、事務所でも折り紙的な事を昨日やっていた。パインツリー。いわゆるクリスマスツリーの方をした模型を作っていたのだ。テンプレートをキャドでおこして、３センチ程の樹々を大量生産している。
