Heavy Monday. The weekend was really busy that i am feeling really exhausted. I should spend more time on resting... but i will get over it soon. 9 o'clock at the office. Today i have to pave stone on drawing. There is a square designed by Carso St John a few years ago in Sweden Karlma. when i was designing this I was thinking about this always. But now i am more interested in infrastructure, drainage, wiring, ventilation and security design rather than designing something visible. In other word, I am designing light, water, and air. I like designing those because i can feel i am designing space there. Tomorrow, I will go to site in the early morning.
今週の月曜日は何だか身体が重い。週末に予定を入れすぎて、一週間の疲労回復に時間を割けなかった。こうやってまた今週末も詰め込んで、気合いで乗り切るのである。９時事務所。ギャラリーに石を敷く。数年前スウェーデンのカルマルにCaruso St Johnが広場を設計した。その石の敷き方を頭の片隅に置きつつ考える。見ていて実に自然である。石の図面を仕上げようかと思ったが、今は意匠よりも圧倒的に設備の方に興味がある。デザインは最後にさらっとやる。それよりも配管、換気、配線、セキュリティーシステムなどの図面に重点を置いている。考え方によってはこれらは、水、空気、光のデザインである。こちらの方が形を作らずに空間を作っている気になって僕的には楽しい。１５０φの鋳鉄製の配管が薄暗い土中に埋まり、その中を雨水がものすごい勢いで流れていく。そのすぐ隣で森に特有の湿った空気が換気のディテールをかすめる。うまく自然の流れを設計したい。明日は敷地に行くので今日は早く寝ようと思う。
