My room is regaining its emptiness as it was before. I remembered a feeling of freshness of new life starting when I find a part of carpet which was hidden underneath heavy furniture. The room will get bit bigger than now so it won't be any problem regarding the space but this was good time to spend time on throwing unnecessary things away. Old brochures, catalogues, and notebooks were just heavy and take a lot of room, so good bye. Other tiny stuff still there. BTW, It had been more than 2 years since i came to London from last week. I feel like being here more than 4 or 5 years though.
部屋が少しずつ元通りの素っ気なさを取り戻し始めた。今まで家具に長い間踏みつぶされていて見たことの無かった絨毯の一部が見えると、何だか新生活を思い出して気持ちが若返る。大きな部屋に移ることになるから、今の荷物をそのまま持ち込んでも広さ的には全く余裕だけれども、良い機会であるからいらないものは捨ててしまおうと考えた。古いカタログやら、昔のノートやらは持っていても仕方がないので思い切って捨てた。細々としたものがまだまだ残っている。そう言えば、先週でまる２年ロンドンにいた事になった。まだ２年か、もう４，５年は住んでいる感覚があるのに。
