This morning, i woke up unexpectedly quite earlier because of night mare... And slept again, but nightmare just continued.. Mmm, not good beginning of holiday. And what made me more disappointing is that the exhibition in WelcomeTrust which was called "Madness & Modernity" was pathetic and severe. Holiday was dark enough already in the afternoon. I was trudging around, eating pizza, drinking ice-tea at Sumerset House, Bombay Sapphire Dusk Bar and talking over about friend's master thesis. Finally I got to our Mecca, Japan Centre to have dinner. Maguro-don was great.
早朝に嫌な夢を見て気分が悪い状態で起きて、二度寝を決め、嫌な夢の続編を見る。休日の始まりとしては最悪。で更に、ウェルカムトラストにて「狂気とモダニティー」と題された建築関係の展示を見てゲッソリする。図面や模型がエントランスに餌のようにおいてあったから、まんまと引っ掛かって入ってみると悲愴感漂うダークな展示で、結果的に休日が真っ暗になる。とぼとぼと歩き、ピザを食べ、テムズ川沿いのボンベイ・サファイアの仮設カフェでアイスティーを飲み、修士論文の相談。そのままメッカ、ジャパンセンターへ移動して、マグロ丼を食し満足して、帰宅。
Cafe was designed by Tom Dixon, lighting and furniture designer / ボンベイ・サファイアのカフェは照明デザイナーのトム・ディクソン、プロデュースの仮設だった。
