Last night, I had too much for dinner, even though, I didn't have any heartburn or discomfort that morning. Mmm, I am still young... Took shower. Btw, the bathroom in this hotel has Grohe sanitary wares which are good. The shower head enabled strong water pressure and thermostat was easy to handle. But how they attached the wall wasn't good enough. After getting myself ready to check out and to the restaurant with nice view toward the Valley. Sicilian break fast it was. Very sweet like having desert. Coffee was good. It was just one day that we stayed here but i would like to stay here again if i have another chance to do so. The sunlight coming into the couch was soft and mild that makes me sleep and comfortable all the time. When I open my eyes it was there already.
By Taxi, really rough driving taxi. It was like a F1. My boss who set just behind me says, this is Italy. I was sitting just next to the driver and thought sadly i will die here. Fortunately we arrived without any accidents. Posh hotel again, GRAND HOTEL ET DES PALMES. My roomate was again Aaron. After a bit of resting, heading to town with all. Mostly we spent on looking at major public architecture and institutes in the centre. Without any stress, freely, walking, having coffee, and eating at sort of local italian canteen.
昨日の夜、もうこれ以上食べられないという程に暴食したにも関わらず、朝は胃もたれ等無く、いつも通りの腹ぺこ状態で起きる。起きてシャワーに入った。ちなみにここのバスルームにはＧＲＯＨＥが入っていた。ＧＲＯＨＥのシャワーは水圧が強くて爽快だったし、サーモスタットの操作性もまあまあ良かった。ただ壁への取り付け方がよくなかったから不便ではあったけど。身支度を終えた後、チェックアウト、そして眺めの良いホテル内のレストランへ。朝食はシチリア独特、タルトなどの甘いデザート系がテーブルに多く並んべられていた。コーヒーが美味しかった。一泊だけしかできなかったが、また泊まってみたいホテルだった。お薦めです。http://www.bagliodellaluna.com/en/index.htm 朝食後、電車に揺られ北の海岸線の街パレルモへ。電車に差し込む日光が気持ちよくて、車内では半目状態で右から左に流れる内陸の景観を眺めながら、終始ウトウト。気が付いたらパレルモだった。
駅からはF1みたいな運転をするタクシーでGRAND HOTEL ET DES PALMESへ向かった。これでこそイタリアだ！、と後ろの座席に座る社長がうなった。助手席に座った僕は、無念にもこの地で骨を埋めるのかと思う程の運転だった。不思議にも無事についた。前夜とはまた別種の高級なホテルだった。http://www.hotel-despalmes.it/ 引き続きアーロンと同部屋を借りる。軽い身支度をして全員で外出。主要な主要な公共建築やマーケットを見て回り、カフェでコーヒーを飲み、立ち食い食堂で再び腹が満たされた。
The best place i visited this day was SANTA MARIA DELLO SPASIMO. So-called ROOFLESS CHAPEL. it was started to build on 16th century but never be completed. chapel, storage, theatre, and hospital. It' function kept changing at every age. And Thats the condition now you can see from the photo. Its relic condition which allow people to have cultural activity.
昼ご飯も終わり、時間に追われることなくフラフラと街を歩きある建築に辿り着いた。SANTA MARIA DELLO SPASIMOへ。通称、ROOFLESS CHAPEL、屋根のない教会。１６世紀に教会として建てられたが色んな理由があって教会として機能しなくなり、その後倉庫になり、劇場になり、また病院になった。でずっと屋根がかからなかった。そして今のこの文化的使用が主たる遺構状態へと相成った。
Just beautiful. Accessing from the quiet narrow street to the square courtyard which has a fountain in the middle. Passing through a dark and cold room next to the fountain square. And finally the space opens up slowly but dynamic in front of you with a echo of babble sound from the fountain 2 spaces behind you. This sequence was amazing. Like Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki. I felt like I am walking around Aerial Garden. But i had to leave here earlier just in half an hour...
静かな路地から噴水のあるコートヤードを抜け、半外部の暗い部屋を通り、ゆっくりとこの開放的な空間へと抜けた。このシークエンスはとても良かった。天空の城ラピュタの空中庭園に似ていた。もう少し長居したかったが、もう行かなければならなかった。
