Being back to model making. Since this week, Spanish girl came to our office for her internship and I am teaching how to make models. while all of this was going on, lecture about "Building Contract" started. The lecture was about 4 hours, such a longtime it was. Building Contract was designed in very detailed. Many specific terms that i don't used in daily life were found in the lecture, which are ADJUDICATION, NEGLIGENT, SUE and so on. When we find " SHALL " in the clause, that means someone has to do it definitely. Not in the case of "Shall i help you". The lawyer who gave us a lecture today, what's amazing about him is that he amended and optimized the contract documents just for our office.
久しぶりに模型作業に移った。今週から若いスペイン人の女の子がインターンシップで事務所にきていて、模型の作り方などを教えている。そうこうしている内に、社内レクチャーが始まる。エンプロイヤーとコントラクターとのビルディング・コントラクト：契約についてのレクチャーぶっ続けの４時間。契約書は非常に細かく、細部に至るまで色んな事項が決定される様にデザインされていた。専門用語が飛び交い非常に難しかったが、要するに建築デザインを受け持つ我々の会社をより安全にするための条項が沢山並べられているのだ。いくつか出てきた用語をあげてみると、Adjudication, Negligent, Sue, など。契約書に出てくる Shall というのは”絶対しなければならい”、とレクチャーをしてくれた法律家がいっていた。Shall i help you?／お助けしましょうか？でわ、、ない。この人が凄いのは一般的に使われているビルディング・コントラクトを下敷きにして微修正して、この事務所専用の契約書を製作したことだ。もっとも最適化された契約書である。
