Continuous from Saturday, I was walking all day long today. I asked M-kun to accompany as well. The best harvest today is that I bought a pair of nice Grenson leather shoes. When i had first glance, i was too fascinated. I was being blind by materialistic desire for a change. I couldn't image anything other than this. But at the same time, Tricker's and Barker's shoes were also super stylish and cool. I was taking much time to decide which one i should take. And so forth, I went to Skandium for furniture and glass products just to see. After that, Knightsbridge, Sloan Square, Covent garden.
After I went back to flat. I made airplane model which i received as a birthday gift yesterday while i am eating Ben's cookies which is also a gift. Very heavy model which is good. It's ready to take off from my shelf.
土曜に引き続き、ひたすら歩いた１日だった。Ｍ君に同行して貰い、色々と散策した。その中でもハロッズでグレンソンの革靴が買えたのが今日一番の収穫だった。イギリスの伝統ある靴で、久し振りに物欲に狩らてしまった。伝統的な嫌みがなく、シンプルで、もうこれしかないと思ってしまった。またＭ君のお薦めするトリッカーズや、その横に並ぶバーカーというのもそれはそれは惚れ惚れするような靴であったから、迷って仕方なかった。誕生日という大人げない理由付けだったけどまあよし。その他にはスカンディウムでは家具、ガラス他を見て回り、ナイツブリッジ、スローンスクエアー、コベントを散策した。
家に帰って、いただいた飛行機の模型を、クッキー片手に作った。ふむ、なかなかに重厚感があっていい。パーツが少ないから直ぐに組み上がった。本棚の上で今にも離陸しそうである。
