I cannot afford anything at this moment financially, but when i find something really interesting, especially books, I first hesitate but at the end, I buy them, , , , often. But I don't regret about buying those. They are good.

金銭的余裕がないのは当然なのだけど、どうしても欲しい物、特に本を見つけてしまうとしばらく迷ってやはり買ってしまう。でもこれらに関しては後悔していないです。良い本です。

Planet Earth: The Complete Series [DVD] [Import]

Not book but DVD. I was about to buy this "Planet earth" DVD box in Japan, but i didn't for long time. Now i really feel good about this. Because, In Japan, this cost 43,890 yen, which is 7 times expensive then buying in U.K.

いきなり本じゃないんですが日本でも一度買おうと思ってしまったＢＢＣのプラネットアース、ＤＶＤＢＯＸ。本当に買わなくてよかった。エピソード１〜１１がＢＯＸ３つに分けられ販売され、全エピソードそろえるとなんと、破格の43,890円（定価）。しかし、最近こちらで全エピソード含まれたＤＶＤセットがなんと、１９ポンド（３０００円）で売られているのを発見した。何でも高いイギリスでこれは有り得んとして、何も考えず即購入。映像は当然最高。日本版にはBBCのコンテンツが削除され、その代わり緒方拳がついてくる。。。英国版の方が圧倒的によい。それにこれはアッテンボローの解説でみた方がよい。買おうと思ってた人、是非英国版をお薦めします。

Katsura: Imperial Villa

"KATURA", I saw this when i was in Japan already, but now the price is getting cheaper. so i bought it. Isozaki's eye is exquisite here. It contains many drawings then other books about Katsura.

"Katsura"。日本にいる頃にも売っていた。それがかなり安くなりはじめ在庫処分的に扱われ始めたので、購入。磯崎新のカメラアイが鋭く光る。図版もかなり多く参考になる。

Piranesi: The Complete Etchings (Klotz S.)

Piranesi, Complete Etching. I've been loving this book for long time, but i haven't bought it yet. These days, the stocks in the storage started to run out, so I want to buy it now but i haven't found it yet. Amazon and so on, they dont have their stocks anymore. But there are many in old book market. I will buy it later.

Vitamin D: New Perspectives in Drawing (Themes)

The book i like the most at this moment. It attempts to explore the meaning and the role of drawing by artist recent days. Anyway, we can see various drawings by different artists, and learn it's evolution, meaning, role, and trends nowadays. More than 300 pages and 500 illustrations. If you feel lucking of the imagination or motivation for creation, you will definitely be stimulated by this book.

VITAMIN D. 今一番気に入っている本。アートの中で「ドローイング」が占める意味とは何かを追求しようとする本。とにかく多種多様なアーティストが描いたドローイングがたくさん見られ、現代のドローイングにおける進化と、意味、方法と風潮を知ることができる。３００ページ以上図版は５００も。創造の源泉とか、そういう湧き上がるものが枯渇した時にみるとかなり刺激される良い本です。
